Ever since i started playing poker ive noticed that weekends often supply bad/drunk/overaggressive players in big numbers and this weekend was no exception=)
made 3,5 k grindin 10-20/5-10 NL on stars/party on friday for a few hours on the friday, saturday was even better:
found a guy on party 10 20NL who called an allin preflop for 1k with A4 (and sucked out of course) so i decided to hang around til i got a chance to bust him...
that came very soon: i raise 80bucks pre with AK, he quickly called.. flop 679 offsuit, i bet pot, he calls quickly again. turn is my beloved ace=) i check and he bets 500 bucks, i reraise him allin 700 more and he quickly calls so i fear he might have me but his J 10 doesnt hit the 4 outer luckily=) also got a nice 4k pot on stars 10 20NL when an aggressive player raises 60 utg in a 6-handed game, gettin 1 caller on the button.
i reraise to 240 from the BB with KK and he moves allin for 2k. i hesitate but couldnt lay the hand down, board gives no help to his QQ. a total of 10,5 k was a gooooood saturday hehe. november started out very badly when i lost 35 k on the 3 first days(lost some big pots on 25 50 NL) but now i have a positive total again, hope december gives me a better start=)
the above mentioned plays are very rare on these high stakes so i think its important to play a lot on the weekends since the games are that good. i also think (from own expensive experiences) that alcohol (in heavy doses that is...) and internet-poker shouldnt be mixed, live-games are different in my opinion though... i used to play drunk on occasions earlier but after a 25k drunk-tilt after a partynight with my poker-friends in barcelona 3 months ago i made a bet for 10k that i would never play drunk again, ill try to stick to that=)
